Pronoun Wiki

Gender identity is one's "innermost concept" of how they percieve themselves or their gender. One's gender identity may be the same, or vary from, their biological sex.[1] It is important to remember that pronouns do not equal gender. A person may identify as a boy and use they/them pronouns, and a person may identify as genderfluid and only use one set of pronouns. Gender identity is often (but not always) based off of societal definitions of genders. Gender is different from sex.
