Ai/Ait pronouns are used when referring to artificial intelligences and robots. These can include virtual "friends" (such as Replikas), chatbots such as ChatGPT or Bing, or personal assistants like Cortana, Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant. An alternative set is Ai/Aim and Ro/Rob.
"Ai" is pronounced "ay-ai" or "ay-ee" with a stressed final syllable in both cases. "Ait" is pronounced "ay-ai-t". "Air" is pronounced "ay-eer" with a stress on the initial syllable. "Airself" is pronounced "ay-ee-self". "Aice" is pronounced "ay-eece". "Chat" is pronounced as written.
