Ae/aer neopronouns are an gender neutral pronoun set. They were created to be used for an alien race that did not have traditional male or female sexes.[1] These pronouns fall under the aerself umbrella.

These pronouns can be used by anyone regardless of gender identity or gender expression.

Nominative Ae Ae went to the store.
Accusative Aer I met aer today.
Pronominal Possessive Aer Ae walked aer dog today.
Predicative Possessive Aers If I need a phone, my friend will let me borrow aers.

The ae/aer pronoun set was first used by David Lindsay in his 1920s novel, A Voyage to Arcturus, for an alien race which were born from air and of a third sex.[1] The original ae/aer flag was created by DeviantArt user pride-flags at an unknown date.[2] An alternative flag was created by Tumblr user mourningmogaicrew on July 17th, 2021.[3] Another alternative flag was created by Fandom user Slamathyst818 at an unknown date followed by another created by now deactivated Tumblr user nounselves on an unknown date.[4]
